Do you know the effect you have?

There is a lot going on in the world.  (Boy, is that an understatement!)

At times it can feel disheartening and overwhelming.  Many times people lose hope due to fear, vulnerability, and the inability to even fathom a solution.  The biggest misconception that many people have is the idea that, “I can’t affect change…so what’s the use.”  This one sabotaging thought limits progress in the world and also limits individuals’ potential for joy in their own lives.

I am here to share that, ‘yes we CAN affect change!‘  Both in our own lives and at a large scale.

I believe we are each here for an extraordinary purpose: to love, grow, and express our heart’s essence and then to share it with others in some meaningful way.

It does not have to be at the level of Ghandi, Mother Theresa, or Martin Luther King. ANYWAY you are inspired to serve, help, guide, or support others, whether it is one individual/animal/cause or a large group, is impactful and has a huge domino effect.

Whether you are already sharing your gifts in some way or you are thinking about it, this week, take massive action to up-your-game:

  1. Make a list of 7 things you could do to add more love, positive energy, and kindness to the world (examples: share uplifting posts on social media, volunteer for a group, help a friend in need, call a person you lost touch with, donate time/energy/resources to a passion cause, write a song and share it, smile at 5 people today, etc.)
  2. Then, each day, for the next 7 days, pick one thing on your list and TAKE ACTION on it.  If it is something that requires more time, then just take one baby-step towards it that day.
  3. Feel the sense of joy and connection as you are contributing to the positive energy on the planet.

‘A rising tide lifts all ships’.  Continue to be the ‘change’ you want to see in the world… and before you know it, your world will begin to change. 🙂

Have an impactful week!

Cheers *\o/*

  1. YES! Love it! Great perspective. Thank you Michele! This is great wisdom to live by. It doesn’t matter what you do, a smile, a handshake, compliment, and positive praise can change a person’s day, which can affect their next day, which can affect their life. The ripple affect is profound!

  2. Hi Michelle! Thank you for sharing that wonderful video! Les Brown is one of my favorite motivational speakers and mentors. It has been quite some time since we last met prior to the dissolving of TSTLC and I just wanted to reach out and say “Hello!” Hope this note finds you in great health, spirits and thriving in this amazing world!
