Let there be peace…



What brings you Peace?
Sometimes we think everything has to be perfect, calm, and orderly before we can “feel peaceful.”  I have actually discovered that we can find peace even during periods of chaos.
Here are 15 healthy activities that can help you feel more peaceful:
  1. Meditate
  2. Go for a walk
  3. Start a gratitude book that you write in everyday
  4. Sit and enjoy your favorite meal with total focus (do not do anything else while eating except pay attention to all your senses as you experience the food)
  5. Sit in nature and observe all the beauty that surrounds you
  6. Make a list of all the things you appreciate in that moment
  7. Exercise
  8. Dance
  9. Sing and/or listen to joyful music
  10. Laugh
  11. Hang out with positive friends
  12. Volunteer for a cause that you feel passionate about
  13. Take a bath
  14. Read something positive and uplifting
  15. Hug a friend

Everyday, for the next 7 days, pick one new thing on this list (or come up with your own), and do that activity.
