- APPRECIATION: Every morning, write out a list of 10 things you appreciate and WHY you appreciate them.
- LAUGHTER: Watch a funny movie, read a funny book, look up funny quotes, or just start laughing for no reason at all…(p.s. that last one is fun to do anyway… you wind up laughing at yourself and then your laughter becomes contagious)!
- INSPIRATION: Research other people who you admire who have created what you want in life. Allow yourself to be inspired by their journey. Be careful not to compare yourself in a negative way. Allow this exercise to help you realize what is possible. If someone else can do it, YOU CAN TOO! This will help your mind focus on what is possible.
- POSITIVITY: Everyday for the next 7 days, watch, listen, read, and speak ONLY positive and uplifting things. Turn off the News, avoid gossip, and practicing speaking positive and encouraging words about yourself and others. If you are not in the habit of this, that’s ok, it may feel a little awkward at first, just keep at it and eventually you will start to “train your brain” to naturally think and feel more positive! 🙂
